There will be music and a chance to share stories at a care home event to improve the understanding of dementia.
A dementia friends champion will deliver a session to give people insight into the condition at Sunrise Senior Living's 'resources to remember' event at its home in Edgwarebury Lane, Elstree, on Thursday, November 6.
There will be a chance to share stories, insights and experience and an afternoon tea will be served, whilst singer Jackie Marks entertains guests.
Resources to Remember, a national campaign led by Sunrise Senior Living and held in conjunction with Alzheimer’s Society, aims to transform the public’s outlook on dementia. Everyone who attends will receive a free copy of Sunrise’s memory care guide.
