Plans for a new sports centre will be unveiled this afternoon at the first of three public exhibitions.
Legal & General announced proposals earlier this month to build a centre of sporting excellence on land to the east of Rowley Lane and to the west of the A1.
The centre will be open to grass roots sports teams, clubs for all ages and schools in Borehamwood, as well as people from the wider community, and will feature a training complex, sports facilities for the community, accommodation for players and research space.
Public exhibitions on the plans will be held across three days from from 3pm to 8pm today, Saturday, September 27 from 10am to 4pm and Monday, September 29 from 4pm to 8pm.
All events will be held at the civic offices, Elstree Way, and members of the team will be on hand to answer questions and find out what people think about the plans.
