A Hertfordshire health trust has been named as one of the top 100 best places to work within healthcare.

The Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust has been ranked among the top 100 places to work in health care services across the country.

Results are drawn from employee engagement and satisfaction survey, with information separated into seven categories to look out how good each service performed in each area.

These include role satisfaction, training and development, employee engagement and satisfaction, the work environment and leadership and planning.

HPFT Chief Executive Tom Cahill said: “This is excellent news. We have been going through a significant programme to improve and change our services to ensure they are providing high quality care based on modern best practice whilst ensuring they are efficient and sustainable for the future.

“Many of our staff have been affected by these changes so to be named as one of the top 100 employers is an especially fantastic achievement and is thanks to the commitment and dedication to all our staff.

“We hope we can continue to build on this and make HPFT an even better place to work for our current staff and for new staff who join us in the future.”
