The Elstree and Borehamwood Rotary Club are to host a charity golf day in order to raise money for two children’s charities.

Keen golfers can sign up for the event, to be held at the South Herts Golf Club on September 12, to compete in teams of four for a top prize.

A three-course dinner will follow the competition in the evening, followed by a prize presentation and a raffle.

Tickets cost £75 for golf and dinner, and £30 for dinner alone.

The club is also looking for raffle donations, auction lots and tee sponsorship.

All money raised from the day will be donated to the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice in Barnet and Bliss, a charity for babies born “too soon, too small and too sick”.

President Barbara Kennedy, said: “I look forward to another successful day and hope those who have supported previous golf days that have benefited ‘Help for Heroes’ and the Peace Hospice will join us to raise funds for these special children’s charities.”

Players, diners and donors should contact Jack Kennedy on 020 8959 3197.
