CAST and crew of 1971 film The Go Between are being sought for the 40th anniversary release celebrations in aid of charity.

The Go Between was produced by Associated British Picture Corporation, which was housed in Elstree, and was filmed on location in Norfolk during the summer of 1971.

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the film will be screened in Norfolk at 7pm on October 7, at The Hollywood Cinema, Anglia Square, Norwich.

The screening is being organised by the Trustees of the Norfolk Churches Trust in aid of Norfolk Churches.

Stephen Smith contacted Elstree Screen Heritage for help finding local people who had worked on the film.

Many of the crew members had been local to the Elstree and Borehamwood area, and he believed some may still live locally.

Mr Smith said they might remember him as "the clapper boy".

Members of the cast and crew will attend the showing.
