THE Federation of Crown Green Bowls is looking forward to another season and are pleased to announce the involvement of a local company.
Rigby Taylor Ltd from Horwich have agreed to sponsor the National League this year.
Two teams from Bolton are in the open National League, and two teams have entered the North West section of the over-60s at Fox Lane.
The first event of the year is the Ladies Merit, still sponsored by Hotters Comfort Concept, and will be played at Broadfield Park, Rochdale, on April 30. This is an open event to all ladies of any age. Entries to go to Pat Hull on 01706 853269.
The Junior/Youth Merit will be held at Moss Bank Park on Sunday, August 6, and the popular Team Knockout will be played at various venues in the area on Sunday, September 10.
