Salon to raise cash for Peace Hospice

A hairdressing salon is getting ready to host a tea party to raise cash for the Peace Hospice.

Staff at Joseph’s Salon, in Shenley Road, are holding the annual fundraiser to show support for their clients who have had treatment at the Peace Drive hospice.

The tea party will also feature a raffle draw and people are invited to pop into the salon to picket up a ticket.

Hairdresser Charlotte Letheury said: “We are really looking forward to the event and cannot wait to see how much money we raise.

“We are hoping our clients help donate some money on the day but people and other business owners are also free to come in, have a cup of tea, and contribute.”

The event will be held on Saturday, October 20 from 9am to 5pm.
