Cash raised by Borehamwood Police officers handed to Herts Air Ambulance

Cash raised at Borehamwood Police Station was handed over to the Herts Air Ambulance last week.

Officers at the Shenley Road station held an activities day in June which saw them raise £532 for the charity.

The cheque was handed over to volunteer fundraiser for the ambulance, Kate Lloyd-Davies, at a special event at the police station.

Chief Inspector for Hertsmere, Dean Patient, said: “As police we know how vital the service the air ambulance provide so it was important to be able to raise money.”

Great photo and a fantastic amount of money raised for such a worthy cause howeve where is the mayor in this as it is cllr Stracks charity for her year in office well done everyone
