Film enthusiasts can enter competition

Film enthusiasts have the chance to write and direct their own movie for the chance to win a cash prize.
The Short Film Awards, to be held in the Ark Theatre, Thrift Farm Lane, Borehamwood, in April next year, will also raise cash for various charities in Borehamwood.
People of all ages can enter a five-minute film on any subject to be screened at the event, which is being run by Elstree Studios.
The winner will be awarded a trophy and £50, and two runners up will also be selected.
People have until March 1, 2013 to submit entries. To enter, contact Jason Cook at Elstree Studios.
