School kids will be treated to a boxing demo with gold medallist Sean Murphy.

The nine to ten-year-olds from Kenilworth Primary, Kenilworth Drive, will be taught how to channel their aggression during the talk next Tuesday, October 9.

Mr Murphy won a gold medal in the commonwealth games and also helped train Olympic gold medallist Anthony Joshua.

The event was organised by Bob Williams, founder of boxing club Boxcleva.

He said: “I am really looking forward to showing the kids some of the skills they can learn on the pads. I think it will be really beneficial to them.

“The idea of the talk is to show them a healthy way of controlling their emotions in a safe and controlled environment”.
