Free tamper proof number plate screws available

Drivers and motorcyclists can have their number plates screwed on at a police event.
The plate safe scheme, coordinated by Hertsmere Community Safety Partnership, aims to reduce number plate thefts.
Officers will be fitting cars and bikes tamper proof plate screws and bike security markings for free.
People are invited to turn up to the Three Ways Community Centre, Ripon Way, Borehamwood, between 1pm and 4pm.
