The Borehamwood and District Garden Crafts Society held its annual autumn show on Sunday to raise money for the Herts Air Ambulance.
The event held at Allum Hall also featured a gardening competition and many picked up awards for their prize strawberries, pears and apples.
A total of £700 was raised for Mayor of Hertsmere Pat Strack’s chosen charity of the year.
Rose Barry, vice chairman of the society, said: “I am so pleased our garden show was able to support the Herts Air Ambulance.
“We had so many different types of fruits, vegetables and flowers - everything was simply remarkable.
“It was a great success and we are thrilled with how it all went because so much money was raised.”
Chairman of the club, Len Anderson, picked up first prize for his dahlias, which Mrs Barry said were “simply beautiful.”
Councillor Strack added: “I was really impressed with the amount of people who came along to support Herts Air Ambulance and I am thrilled that it all went smoothly.
“There were some great jewellery stalls and the flowers and vegetables in the competition looked fantastic. There was a great atmosphere in the hall and I had a great time.”
