Employers help the unemployed find work
9:10am Sunday 16th September 2012 in News By Anna Slater
Employers will be helping unemployed people from Hertsmere find work at a recruitment fair tomorrow.
Supermarkets, banks and the Army will be just some of the companies dishing out advice about how to get back into work.
People can also take part in a CV workshop, where they will be given advice on how to make themselves stand out to prospective employers.
At midday, supermarket firm Tesco will be giving advice on their work placement programme for 18 to 24-year-olds.
The event, to be held at Hertsmere Borough Offices in Elstree Way, will also be attended by Mayor of Hertsmere, Councillor Pat Strack.
It will be held at Hertsmere Borough Offices, in Elstree Way, from 10am to 4pm.
