'Go red' for mayor's charity

People of all ages will be donning their favourite red outfits this month to raise cash for the mayor's charity.

The Herts Air Ambulance was chosen by Councillor Pat Strack as her charity of the year, and Go Red week will see hundreds of fundraising events across the borough.

Schoolchildren, businesses and councillors will be encouraged to wear red, and can also take part in a football tournament.

An air ambulance will be landing at Hertswood School, in Cowley Hill, on Friday, September 28.

Go Red Week runs from September 22 to 30.
