A charity evening to raise cash for two charities is being held at a 16th Century pub next week.

The Waggon and Horses, in Watling Street, Elstree, is holding the event in aid of the Herts Air Ambulance and child abuse charity NSPCC.

As well as featuring live folk music and a charity auction, pub-goers will also have the chance to sample some complimentary food, wine and ale.

The evening will also be attended by Mayor of Hertsmere, Councillor Pat Strack.

It will be held on Tuesday, September 18, and start at 7pm.
