A PE teacher from Shenley ran with the Paralympic torch on Wednesday.
David Ede, who works at a school in Essex, carried the flame through Waltham Forrest with five other teachers from the school.
The 31-year-old was nominated to carry the torch by British Telecom, after getting all students to sample Paralympic sports such as Boccia and wheelchair basketball.
