A property developer who died in a crash in Bushey last weekend has been officially named as Aldenham resident William MacKenzie.
The 52-year-old of Wall Hall Drive was killed after the Italian Pagani Zonda he was driving crashed along Hartspring Lane on Sunday afternoon.
The initial cause of his death has been recorded as multiple injuries sustained in the accident, however an inquest will be held later this year.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the car crash into metal fencing outside Herbert G Winfield Builders Merchants, ripping out ten concrete posts and destroying several frames of metal fencing.
The car then spun along Hartspring Lane before coming to a stop by wooden fencing close to the roundabout.
A man in his 20s escaped the crash without serious injury.
