A charity concert to raise money for prosthetic limbs for children worldwide is being held in Radlett in October.
The charity, Elizabeth’s Legacy of Hope, was founded by twin sisters, Sarah Hope and Elizabeth Bacon after the pair’s Elizabeth mother was killed in a bus crash in Mortlake.
Mrs Hope was left seriously injured in the accident but survived and her daughter Pollyanna, then aged two, lost her leg and now uses a prosthetic limb.
The charity has provided prosthetic limbs for children as far as Africa.
The concert will be a “comedy” piano recital by performer Alex Ainley, who will be playing a range of musical parodies. A raffle will also be held.
The event will be held at the Radlett Centre, in Aldenham Avenue, on Friday, October 19 at 7.45pm. Tickets cost £10 each and can be purchased at http://classicalcomedy.wix.com/now
