A Shenley councillor has donated £500 to help victims of rape and sexual abuse in Hertfordshire.
Councillor John Usher, who also serves people in the Potters Bar West ward, allocated the money from his locality budget to Herts Area Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Centre.
The facility, in Hatfield, was opened in 1986 and offers to support to any woman over 16 living in Hertfordshire who has been a victim of rape or sexual assault.
