4:30pm Friday 3rd August 2012 in News By Chris Hewett
Free courses including nail art and jewellery making are available for 13 to 19-year-olds in Borehamwood from Monday.
The courses, run every Monday and Wednesday for four weeks, offer young people the chance to learn new beauty techniques and arts and crafts
Beautician sessions start on Monday at the Windsor Club, near the Leeming Road shops, and include the chance to do manicures, nail art and other beauty tricks.
Glass painting and jewellery making sessions start on Wednesday at Farriers Community Centre, in Farriers Way.
They include the chance to use audio-editing equipment to create a CD. No experience is required.
The courses are put on by housing association Affinity Sutton as part of its promise to support opportunities for young people in areas where it provides homes.
Places are still available and those interested should telephone Hayley on 0300 100 0303 or text 0779 179 3554.
