Children from a Borehamwood school visited a building site yesterday to learn about how dangerous they can be.

The children, from Monksmead Primary School, in Hillside Avenue, went to Taylor Wimpey’s new homes development in Oaktrees.

Site manager Dave Laurence explained about the ways they could be hurt if they were tempted to use the site as a playground.

The new development, in Oaktrees, Elstree way, will feature 125 homes which will be completed towards the beginning of next year.
