Police are still hunting the knife-wielding robber who targeted a newsagent in Borehamwood.
The man wore a black scarf over his face as he walked into the Martin McColl shop in Hartforde Road, on March 7, just before 7pm. He approached the till, threw a bag over the counter and ordered the shop assistant to “fill this up.”
He then raised a 12-inch kitchen knife up in the air and added: “I’m not messing about.”
The shop assistant took £70 from the till and gave it to the man, who made off out of the shop’s front door.
The suspect is described as around 20-years-old, white, around 5ft 4ins tall and of medium build.
He was wearing a high-visibility vest, a black or blue hooded top, blue tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
