A man stole almost £800 worth of television recorders from a supermarket last month.
The man, who was dressed in a suit and tie, went into the Sainsbury’s shop in Colney Fields Shopping Centre at around 10pm on June 26, but went back to his car empty handed.
But he then returned to the store with a bag, and walked to the electronics aisle where he picked up three digital TV recorders worth £260 each.
He put two in his bag and held the third in his hand as he ran out of the shop via the fire door, which he forced open and damaged in the process.
PC Mark Smith, who is investigating, said: “We would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have witnessed the crime or have information that will help catch the culprit.
“If this is you or if you believe you know this man, then please get in touch with police as soon as possible.”
