A children’s holiday club has been awarded a grant to create an outdoor play area.
Petals Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club in Balmoral Road, Borehamwood, has been allocated a grant of £1,000 from the locality budget of Councillor Morris Bright, leader of Hertsmere Borough Council.
The money will go towards building fencing and help ensure there is a secure outside play area for the children.
The club provides breakfast for children, a free walking bus service to four schools, and after school activities. It also operates during school holidays until 6pm.
