A woman died following a crash on the M25 last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene at just before 11pm last night to the M25 clockwise between junction 22 for London Colney and junction 23 for the A1.
Three vehicles, a green Astra and two lorries, were involved in the crash, which lead to an elderly woman dying at the scene and a male lorry driver receiving minor injuries.
Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "Sadly the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Our thoughts are with her family at this tragic time."
