A young cancer patient walked the red carpet with celebrities at a special screening of the latest Disney film.
Joshua Bond, four, who lives in Borehamwood and was diagnosed with Burkitt's lymphoma in February, was one of 25 children invited to the premiere of the new Disney Pixar film, Brave.
Not only did Joshua enjoy the exclusive screening oore than six weeks before the film’s actual release, but he also had the chance to meet former Spice Girl and radio presenter Emma Bunton.
Film director Mark Andrews and producer Katherine Sarafian also introduced the film and answered questions.
Mark Andrews said: “The young patients of Great Ormond Street Hospital show how brave they are on a daily basis. “Hosting an exclusive, advance premiere of Brave for them is a great way to celebrate just how courageous they are.”
The premiere coincided with an announcement that Disney is helping to create a sensory garden for patients and their families at Great Ormond Street.
