Council backs road safety campaign

The county council will be lending its support to a road safety campaign next week on a busy road near Borehamwood.
The Hertfordshire County Council, the Highways Agency, Fire and Rescue Service and community volunteers will be encouraging drivers to ‘Be Safe and Enjoy Driving’ this summer.
The campaign aims to raise awareness raise public awareness of road safety issues, with special safety messages being displayed on overhead gantries across Hertfordshire’s motorway network, notably on the A1 (M), M25 and M1.
Representatives from the different groups will be South Mimms service area on the A1 to talk to drives about the campaign on July 6 for Road Safety Day.

Useful for all to comment against the registration of the careless or just d**n right dangerous drivers
If you could tell a driver the consequence of their actions could prove catastrophic and as a result make our roads safer would you???
