Families invited to enjoy final weekend of civic festival

People are being given the chance to enjoy the grand finale of the civic festival with the Families Weekend celebrations.

Today in Meadow Park, Borehamwood, will be the Big Local Picnic from 12pm to 4pm.

In the park will be a classic car show and a human table football tournament as well as music and other activities free for people to enjoy.

There will also be a Summer flower show today hosted by the Borehamwood & District Garden Craft Society at Allum Hall, in Allum Lane, Elstree, from 2pm.

There will be flower arrangements on show with judges from the Royal Horticultural Society choosing the winners and plants for sale.
