Tributes have continued to pour in for a biker who died last week.

Colleagues and friends have left more messages on websites to Terry Smith, from Borehamwood, who was travelling along Station Road when he collided with a minicab on Tuesday last week.

Mr Smith worked at MGM cars and worked on vehicles for films produced at Elstree Studios.

A statement released by the studios said: “Terry was part of the Elstree Studios family for many years working with MGM cars providing specialist vehicles to the film and television industry.

“He had an amazing technical talent and recently adapted a vehicle for the Scarlett Johansson film, Under The Skin.

“His sudden death has shocked and saddened all work colleagues and clients at the studios and he will be terribly missed.

“Terry was a caring family man and our hearts go out to his wife, children, family and friends.”

More floral tributes have been left at the scene of the crash in Station Road, near Elstree and Borehamwood railway station.

People have also left more comments on the Facebook page of the Elstree Studios over the last week.

Lisa Hart wrote: “Such a sad waste of life, thoughts with the Smith family.”

Paul Carty said: “Terry you will be deeply missed my heart goes out to you and your family. A tragic loss.”

John E Perkin also commented on the page with: “It's going to take a while for it to sink in and it's going to be odd not seeing your face around MGM & Elstree. Legend.”
