A charity is calling for volunteers to help clear a village green this weekend.
The Woodcock Hill Village Green Charity have organised the environmental project on Sunday, February 26, to clear brambles and plants, not native to the UK, before nesting season vbegins for birds.
There will be a qualified instructor to lead the project, with tools and gloves supplied to volunteers.
Anyone interested in helping can meet at the end of Carrington Avenue, Borehamwood, on Sunday at 10.15am, to begin clearing work.
The project and will end at 12.15pm when refreshments will be served to those who have helped.
