Grants are available to people living in Hertsmere celebrate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee in June.
County councillors have already agreed to give people living in Essendon, near Potters Bar, a £1,000 grant to enable them celebrate the royal occasion in style.
Villagers are planning a weekend of events including cricket matches, a barn dance, hog roast, fancy dress parade, games, a street tea party and much more.
The grant has been made under Hertfordshire County Council's locality budget scheme. To apply for funding, visit www.hertsdirect.org/localitybudget
