Aberford Park has received the award for the last four years, the council hopes it will hold onto the honour.
The council have also put forward another five parks for the award including King George Recreation Ground in Bushey, and Parkfield and Oakmere in Potters Bar, which are all been previous winners of Green Flags.
Bushey Rose Garden and Fishers Field Nature Reserve, also in Bushey have been submitted for the awards.
The awards scheme is the benchmark national standard for parks and recreational spaces in the UK, and was first launched in 1996.
Volunteers work at all the nominated parks and make sure they are kept to a high standard.
The six parks put forward by the borough council will be judged over the coming months before flags are awarded in July.
