A special lecture to mark Holocaust Memorial Day will take place this weekend.
Borehamwood and Elstree Synagogue, in Gateshead Road, will host a lecture by Professor Antony Polonsky, called The Holocaust in Poland and Lithuania, Coming to Terms with a Dark Past.
The lecture will look at the effect the Holocaust has had on the two countries and how each country has come to terms with the events.
The free event will take place on Sunday, February 5 from 8pm to 9.15pm and is open to everyone with refreshments provided.
