AN ambitious 12-year-old photographer from Radlett has qualified as one of the youngest ever licentiates of the Royal Photographic Society.
Sam Kaye, a pupil at Merchant Taylors’ School in Northwood, earned the title after he submitted ten photographs of wildlife earlier this year.
Judged by fellows of the society, he was awarded the distinction in September for his competence in practical photography.
The photos will form part of the student’s first-ever exhibition held at The Radlett Centre throughout November.
The images, which focus on nature and animals, are inspired in part by his interest in becoming a vet.
Sam’s exhibition will be held in the Apthorp Gallery of The Radlett Centre, in Aldenham Avenue, from November 1.
