Police are hunting for four suspects wanted in connection with crimes committed in Borehamwood as long as four years ago.

Jem Hur, 22, who is thought to have lived in Gateshead Road, Borehamwood, is being sought by officers at Hertfordshire Constabulary for breaching a court order by failing to undertake voluntary work.

Benedict Chikpoa, 40, of Colindale is wanted for failing to appear at court for handling stolen goods in Stanborough Avenue in January 2004.

Ludka Herasym, 23, of Edgware, is wanted for failing to appear in court for deception, by forging signatures on his timesheets, at his workplace in Shenley Road.

Ah Bing Chen, also known as Chen Ban Chung, is believed to be living in Borehamwood, and is also wanted for failing to appear in court.

Chief Inspector of Hertsmere Sian Lockley said: “These people have committed, or are suspected of committing, offences in our county. Most have failed to attend court for the crime for which they have been charged.

“We will not let offenders get away with their crime. Their actions have affected someone’s life or livelihood and they may even be continuing to commit crime.

“We need the public’s help as many of these wanted people have not returned to their home address and cannot be traced. If they are trying to keep a low profile or have moved, we can only find them if the community helps us.

“Please call us if you recognise anyone and know where they live, work or regularly frequent.”

A police spokeswoman said issuing a photo of a wanted person is a last resort used by police when all other actions to trace them have failed.

Anyone with information about the suspects can call 08453 300222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
