An annual garden party raised more than £1,000 in spite of the weather trying to put a dampener on the day.
The Elstree & Borehamwood NSPCC Committee held the garden party on the lawns of Schopwick Place in Elstree on Sunday, raising £1,150 for the charity which works to support abused and neglected children.
The committee were joined by special guests including the mayor of Elstree & Borehamwood, Cllr Victor Eni.
Borehamwood Brass were on hand once again to provide the entertainment alongside Paul Lomas on the electric guitar.
