A beatboxer wowed judges with his impressive musical skills as Elstree & Borehamwood hosted its own talent show.
Styled on the popular ITV programme, Britain’s Got Talent, 20-year-old Daniel Rowntree beat off competition to be crowned winner of the contest held at Fairway Hall on June 20.
Town mayor Cllr Victor Eni, Cllr Eric Silver, Cllr Sandra Parnell made up the judging panel with the event hosted by Brian Burton.
In second place was nine-year-old Abby Mainegra Stewart who performed Roar by American singer Katy Perry and Mark Warwick, 54 finished third with his magic and mind reading act.
There were also honourable mentions to drummer Joel Felsenstein, 26, who played The Trooper by Iron Maiden, and sisters Lekha, 8, and Paavni, 6, Tailor who sang Try Everything by Shakira.
