There are hour-long delays on the M25 this morning after a diesel spillage.
Two lanes are now open clockwise at j21 for Bricket Wood.
However, the incident which involved a lorry has had a severe impact on a number of roads this morning.
Traffic is at a near standstill on the M25 clockwise from j19 for Watford.
Many drivers are leaving at j17 for Rickmansworth meaning that Rickmansworth Road towards Watford is extremely slow through Croxley.
The lanes through Sarratt and Chandlers Cross are also very busy.
Traffic is also slow northbound as a result on the A41 between Hunton Bridge and j20 for the M25 as well as on the A41 southbound from Kings Langley.
The A405 is also heavy in both directions between the M1 and the Chiswell Green roundabout
