A group of 14 budding gymnasts performed in front of 3,000 people at a national contest.

Girls from the Elstree School of Gymnastics (ESG) performed at the annual Gymfest in Aberdeen, Scotland, on May 4.

The event brings together 50 display squads from all over the UK over a two day period.

The girls, aged between 4 and 15, were joined by Britain's Got Talent finalists, Spartan, and Spartac, a squad of special needs children and young adults.

Gymfest also takes place every October in London. Each festival culminates in a medal ceremony.

The club used to be based at the Hertswood Centre but are now in need of a new home. The club is currently training temporarily at Hertswood Academy.

ESG are appealing for a bew space where it can install a sprung floor and have room to store equipment.
