Traffic lights are in place in Allum Lane, near the town centre
Temporary traffic lights, which caused long queues this week, have been removed.
Three-way lights were in place in Allum Lane at the junction of Grade Close near Deacons Hill Road because of roadworks.
The works were scheduled to finish on Wednesday but this was put back to Friday this week.
However, the traffic lights had been removed by Wednesday evening.
