Eight teams battled it out at the Mayor of Hertsmere's charity football tournament.

The competition was won by CPB Social Club who repeated their success last year.

It was held at Arsenal's London Colney training ground on Monday and raised around £800 for the Mayor's charities; Carers in Hertfordshire and Norwood.

Staff from Barclays bank and officers from Hertsmere Borough Council were among those who took part.

The remaining participating teams included 96 All Stars, MNF, Worlds End, EMW Law, Boca Seniors and Capital Gains.

Each team donated an entry fee to take part in the tournament and a shirt and football signed by the Arsenal players was raffled after the matches.

Mayor Cllr Charles Goldstein said: "It was a great evening and all the players and spectators seemed to enjoy themselves too. Congratulations go out to the winning team and thank you to all who donated to my two chosen charities."
