Police were called to a community hall last night following reports of disorder.
Officers attended Allum Hall Community Centre in Allum Lane, Borehamwood, at around 9.30pm, after concerns that revellers were not paying for drinks.
The hall was safely dispersed.
Witnesses reported that nearby shops closed early due to the trouble and there was a heavy police presence on the high street, and surrounding areas til past midnight.
There were no injuries or reports of any damage to property.
No arrests were made.
