Big Brother producers drew down the shutters after housemates spotted two intruders in the garden during Friday night’s live eviction.

Housemates gathered for the triple eviction on Friday were seen shouting on live television as they watched events unfold outside.

As presenter Emma Willis announced that Daniel O’Reilly was the next celebrity to leave, contestant Ashley James could be heard saying “Someone’s just jumped in” before reality TV personality Jess Impiazzi screamed “Oh my god help me, I’m scared”.

As Mr O’Reilly, also known as Dapper Laughs, was saying his goodbyes, Wayne Sleep shouted “Big Brother there are people in the house” before clarifying “they are outside the house, not in the house”.

Shutters were quickly drawn on the windows to obscure the view into the living room from the garden.

Presenter Willis assured fans that the housemates were "safe".

She said: “Everybody is fine. They didn’t get into the house and everything is under control.”
