Soul Jump is an animated cartoon band. It promises funny characters who perform catchy melodies and live their life through blends of animation, music and comedy.

It is the first children’s animated virtual band and it is coming live to Elstree Studios on January 25.

The brand new show will see real-life performers sing and voice act, whilst interacting with their animated cartoon counterparts.

Borehamwood Times:

The onscreen cartoons come to life through the real-life performers, creating a whole new level of audio visual entertainment.

Soul Jump includes the characters of super positive front man Ricky Clep, who plays the electric guitar, cynical posh drummer Colin, joyful and soulful lead vocalist Joy, cool rap artist Jerakim and Rickelle, the edgy teen sister of Ricky.

They are joined by Soul Jump’s mysterious tech wizard DJ Sketch and the band’s mascot Slugbe.

Borehamwood Times:

Martyn Niman, founder, producer and performer, says: ‘The funky and super melodic band will play soulful pop music, with big vocal harmonies, including 14 live original songs, against neon animated music videos.

“The real-life performances will be mixed into the songs on screen and in between the songs are real-life comedy sketches of the Soul Jump characters.

“This original type of entertainment creates a whole new experience for children and families like never before.”
