Children in Radlett have been filling hundreds of shoe boxes to be shipped out to disadvantaged youngsters across Europe.
Pupils from St Johns, Fairfield, and Newberries, as well as the Radlett Scouts and Guides teamed up with the Rotary club once again to donate and find items which may be treasured by children across the continent.
The Rotary create the boxes out of cardboard and then they distribute them across the community to be filled.
Since 1994, the Rotary have sent out tens of thousands of these boxes to countries including Romania, Belarus, Albania, and Kosovo.
Seven hundred boxes have been transported to a warehouse in Lancashire and they are set to arrive in Eastern Europe in time for the Orthodox celebrations in the New Year.
