A restaurant which featured in a 1950s film is set to be converted into a steakhouse.
Owners Mitchells & Butlers have revealed The King’s Arms Harvester, in Stirling Way, Borehamwood, is set to close early next year and will be replaced by a Miller & Carter steakhouse.
A spokesperson for Mitchell & Butler’s said: “From time to time we review our estate and take the decision to convert a business to another of our successful brands.
“We are planning to convert the Kings Arms Harvester to a Miller & Carter Steakhouse in early 2018.
“Harvester fans can find their next nearest restaurant at the Jolly Badger in Edgware.”
The Harvester site has been home to a number of different businesses over the years. Most famously, it was the popular King’s Arms pub.
In the late 1950s, the pub featured prominently in the film, The Scamp, which starred the late Richard Attenborough CBE.
