An MP has started judging for an annual Christmas competition.
MP for Finchley and Golders Green Mike Freer started judging his annual Christmas card competition, which has run every year since his election in 2010, with 263 card designs entered from schools across his constituency.
Pupils from All Saints' CofE School, Childs Hill Primary School, Moss Hall Infant and Junior Schools, St Agnes' Catholic Primary School, Northside Primary School and Brookland Junior School sent designs to be judged.
Mr Freer said: "This is the eighth year I have run my Christmas Card competition and I’m always impressed by the hard work and imagination that goes into each of the entries.
"This might be the best year yet and I am looking forward to announcing the winning and highly commended designs very soon."
The winning and highly commended designs will be announced at the end of November.
