An impressive array of poppies have been stuck to lamp-posts as part of a unique way to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Councillor Darren Walford, who represents Tudor ward on Watford Borough Council, was inspired to create the display after seeing a similar project in Northampton last year.
He enlisted the help of fellow ward councillors, Steve Johnson and Joe Fahmy, to help him decorate Tudor Parade in Bushey Mill Lane.
Cllr Walford said: “I was really impressed by how the poppy display really gave colour and a feeling of remembrance to the area.
"I really wanted to replicate this in my own Tudor ward.”
People have been commenting on how impressive the display looks and say it is a "great focal point" for remembering people's sacrifices.
