A care provider is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The Fremantle Trust, who has homes based in Finchley, Whetstone and East Barnet, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of anniversary-themed events including a collection of 25 poems released on National Poetry Day and the annual FreFest celebration.

The trust's homes, which run in 58 locations altogether, help older people and those with learning difficulties, employing more than 1,850 people.

Steve Flanagan, chief executive of the trust, said: "We are proud to be marking this milestone, having witnessed changes over the years influenced by a fast-evolving health and social care landscape.

"While innovation is at the forefront of the way we deliver our services, our values remain constant as we seek to ensure the people we support and care for remain at the heart of everything we do.

"The celebrations have been an opportunity to say thank you and to raise a toast to our special anniversary."

Other events this month which celebrated the anniversary were a masquerade ball, traditional afternoon tea, fine dining, a jazz themed party and an awards ceremony, all held at different services across the UK.
