Pupils are calling for votes as they seek funding for their energy saving project.
The Archer Academy in East Finchley's project to fit LED lighting across the school, saving money on energy and reducing their carbon footprint, is competing against six other projects to gain £12,000 funding in the M&S Community Energy Awards.
Now they are calling for the community to back their project and vote for their project to receive the funding, with the voting closing on Friday.
Governor, Andry Moustras, said: "Against the backdrop of the national funding cuts, these are much needed funds to help us become more sustainable environmentally as well being able spend the money saved directly on our students.
"It would be fantastic if the Finchley and Barnet communities could get behind us to win the funding for our students."
